Mount Royal Arioso participates in Mount Royal University’s acknowledging National Day of Truth and Reconciliation, by joining their voices in the premiere performance of a choral piece by Calgary composer Colleen Athparia entitled “When the Earth Cried.” This important composition was written in response to the residential school crisis that has recently come to light.
