A Few Easy Steps!

To Complete Registration, Follow These Easy Steps:

All choristers must register and pay tuition HERE with the Mount Royal Conservatory.  Fees are paid to the Mount Royal University Conservatory.

This registration fee includes the Conservatory Instruction Fee which covers the core components of the program, the MRU Instructional Equipment Fee, and the Mount Royal Choral Association Administration Fee.

The Conservatory and MRCA consider the choirs to be full year programs lasting from September to May.  For choristers joining the choir mid-season a pro-rated tuition fee will be calculated. Registration forms can be accessed HERE. Completed forms and post-dated deposit cheques can be handed in at rehearsal sign in tables.

The MRCA forms include:

  • MRCA Chorister Registration Form
  • Mount Royal Children’s Choir Volunteer Form
  • Mount Royal Conservatory Photo Release Form

MRCA Deposits for Ariel, Arietta, and Arioso:

  • $175 – Deposit towards Uniforms and Music
  • $200 – Deposit towards Volunteer fulfillment

MRCA Deposits for Artio:

  • $50 – Deposit towards Music

Please make your post dated deposit cheque(s) payable to the Mount Royal Choral Association, dated June 1 (end of the choir season).  The cheque(s) will be returned or destroyed (by request) on or after that date upon return of uniform, all music, music binder, and bag, in good condition, and completion of volunteer requirements. 

One parent from each chorister family MUST attend the October parent meeting. This includes both new and returning choristers!  The orientation will consist of a series of short presentations, a question & answer period, and volunteer sign up. (Artio members are welcome to attend.)

The date, time and location of the meeting will be provided after you have registered and paid tuition to the Mount Royal Conservatory, and completed registration with MRCA.
